Welcome to the first #MillenialFriday post-football season of 2019! Lots of conditions there, I know, but this past weekend was the Super Bowl. My beloved Patriots won another ring, again this year. Please, stay with me just a bit longer. I would love to talk about the Super Bowl, but have little to no interest in talking about the game.
Now, this article is probably best served coming out last week because now you have to wait a full year to put its teachings into effect. I would argue, you could take what you learn here and apply them to any gathering of friends you have coming up in the near future, so read carefully.
I assert that the Super Bowl is the 2nd greatest food “holiday” on the American calendar. Thanksgiving takes the top spot and if you’re into sweets I could see Christmas being high up there for you. I personally, love corned beef and would argue that St. Paddy’s Day could be a Top 5 Contender, but I understand I stand with few in that claim. The 4th of July is a great holiday with some exception food options, but can also be done properly with nothing more than a pack of hot dogs, some buns, and a bag of Lays. So, all that said, the Super Bowl is one of the best food days of the year. Below, I ranked the best foods to have on such a hallowed day. This does not encompass every food you may have on this day, but it is ranking those foods mentioned. Enjoy and happy eating! (Editor’s Note: The Super Bowl is a huge day for dips so it is no coincidence that many of the items are, in fact, dips.)
10. Potato Skins
9. Cheese and Crackers
8.Chips and Onion Dip
5. Buffalo Chicken Dip
4. Pulled Pork
3. Mozzarella Sticks
1.Chips and Salsa
There you have it! Tweet with the #MillenialFriday to tell me your favorite Super Bowl Foods. I’d love to hear from you.
Also, we have an exciting posting coming soon! It will be here soon! Stay tuned and please share the blog with others. I appreciate it. Happy reading!
Love you guys, and Happy #MillenialFriday
